Hoshiarpur- A migrant worker was robbed in Mahilpur town last night. Unknown motorcyclists snatched the mobile phone from the worker working at Lucky Mithai Shop and fled.
According to the information received, Rahim son of Mazruddin, a resident of Rampur (UP), who currently lives in village Khera, was returning home on his bicycle at around 9 pm after working at Lucky Mithai Shop. When he reached Phagwara Road, two youths riding a Splendor motorcycle stopped him, snatched his mobile phone and fled from the spot.
Rahim said that due to the darkness of the night, he could not understand anything and went straight home. After reaching home, he told the whole incident to his family. The family members informed the shop owner about this in the morning.
The police have also been informed in this regard and the search for the motorcyclists is ongoing.
