
Swami Premanand College Mukerian contributes Rs 50,000 to flood victims
Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner and President District Red Cross Society Ashika Jain said that at present the entire Punjab is suffering from the natural calamity of floods. Due to these floods, many people have become homeless. Apart from the crops, houses, livestock of the people, a lot of lives and property have also been lost.

In this hour of difficulty, the District Red Cross Society Hoshiarpur, with the help of the district administration, is ready 24 hours to help the flood victims. On this occasion, the Red Cross Society is providing ration kits, tarpaulins, mosquito nets, odomos and many other essential items to the flood affected families.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Sanjeev Anand, General Secretary, Swami Premanand College, Mukerian has given an amount of Rs. 50 thousand to the District Red Cross Society for the help of the flood victims.
He sincerely thanked the entire management committee of the college for this contribution and appealed to other colleges and universities to also come forward to help the flood affected people in this difficult time and establish a relationship with the Red Cross Society.
