Vet Varsity Secures 2nd Position among India's Veterinary Universities in NIRF 2025 Rankings

Ludhiana 09 September 2025- Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, has achieved notable success by securing the prestigious 2nd rank among veterinary universities across India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 rankings. This accomplishment solidifies the university's reputation as a leader in Veterinary education and research, earning it a spot among the top institutions in the country.

This accomplishment solidifies the university's reputation as a leader in Veterinary education and research, earning it a spot among the top institutions in the country.
By securing 30th place among the top 40 institutes and universities in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors’ category, Vet Varsity showcased its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and innovation in the field of veterinary and animal sciences.  The university’s stellar performance extends across multiple NIRF categories, demonstrating comprehensive institutional strength.
This University has secured the 2nd position nationally among State veterinary universities, ranked within the top 100 among State Public Universities and achieved a rank in the 151-200 band in the NIRF 2025 University category. 
Furthermore, in the latest ranking by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF), the university ranked among the top two in the State Veterinary and Fisheries Universities, highlighting its excellence across various assessment parameters.
