Chandigarh, September 8- The Moonlight Chapter of Chandigarh Senior Citizens Association Registered held its monthly senior citizen meeting at the Community Center in Sector 50, Chandigarh. In which about 51 senior citizens from Sector 46 to 51 participated.
The program started with the national anthem. After this, tributes were paid to the people who died in the floods in Punjab and sympathy was expressed for the people who were displaced in the floods and their loss of life and property.
On this occasion, a hearing test was conducted by Healing Health Mohali and the birthdays of senior citizens born in this month were celebrated.
Head of Chapter Moonlight, Head Raghbir Singh, said that this program is organized every month. In which senior citizens show the jewels of their art, in which songs, bhangra, gidha and many other varieties are presented. On this occasion, Rinku Singh, the winner of Voice of Chandigarh, showcased his talent. Finally, the chapter secretary Ashok Goyal thanked the members present.
