Patiala:- Today, remembering the humanitarian services of Bhai Ghanhai Ji in the world, the Government of India, Punjab and the Red Cross Society should adopt the methods of love, compassion and respect for humanity of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji to children, youth and citizens and every student, teacher, citizen, employee should take training in disaster management, first aid, CPR to save injured soldiers and citizens.
For which Shri Kaka Ram Verma Ji has been striving for the last 45 years, these thoughts were expressed by Inspector Jaspal Singh, in-charge of PRTC's Training School, on the occasion of Bhai Ghanhai Diwas.
On this occasion, Shri Kaka Ram Verma, Retired Training Supervisor of Indian Red Cross Society, said that during wars, chemical, nuclear, atomic weapons and missiles are being prepared and used by wasting billions of rupees to kill or destroy soldiers and civilians. The injured soldiers are tortured by making them into prisoners, but as per the orders of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Bhai Ghanaiya Ji and his companions gave water to save the injured Mughal soldiers, used langar ointment and bandages, got them treated by doctors and instead of making them into prisoners, Guru Ji allowed them to go home to their families with respect.
Efforts were made to save unarmed soldiers, civilians, women and children. Kaka Ram Verma said that in the future if the mission of Guru Ji and Bhai Ghanaiya Ji is not adopted, efforts are not made to train and practice people to make them helpers of the victims, then no human being will come forward to save the dead during wars, disasters and accidents.
Therefore, humanity and Punjabis should also adopt the methods of first aid. He gave information about first aid, fire safety, use and importance of cylinders.
