Hoshiarpur- District Employment and Commerce Bureau and Model Career Center organized a career guidance program related to departmental qualification for the candidates preparing for recruitment in Army/Paramilitary Force at C-Pite Center Talwara.
On this occasion, District Employment Officer Ramandeep Kaur gave detailed information to the candidates about the importance of Employment Bureau. Placement Officer Rakesh Kumar gave detailed information to the students about the job initiatives provided by the Placement Cell, short term technical courses, various government jobs of Punjab Government and employment opportunities available in the banking sector.
Young professional Vikram Singh informed the students about the government facilities available through the National Career Service Portal, free internet facility provided by the Employment Bureau, self-employment schemes etc. Apart from this, he told the students how they can get information about private and government jobs sitting at home by downloading the mobile app 'DBEE Online' of the Employment Department from Google Play Store.
The District Employment Officer said that if any candidate faces any problem, he can contact the Employment Bureau. The entire staff of C-Pite Center, Talwara and 65 candidates participated enthusiastically in this career guidance program.
