
Councillor Buterla organized a blood donation and medical checkup camp in memory of his late brother.
Chandigarh, October 5: Hardeep Singh Buterla, Councillor of Ward No. 30 of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and Director of the Chandigarh State Cooperative Bank, organized the 30th blood donation camp and free medical checkup camp at the Community Center in Sector 41 in memory of his late brother, Malkiat Singh Buterla. A large number of young people enthusiastically donated blood.
Chandigarh, October 5: Hardeep Singh Buterla, Councillor of Ward No. 30 of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and Director of the Chandigarh State Cooperative Bank, organized the 30th blood donation camp and free medical checkup camp at the Community Center in Sector 41 in memory of his late brother, Malkiat Singh Buterla. A large number of young people enthusiastically donated blood.
The camp was inaugurated by Chandigarh MP Munish Tiwari, accompanied by State Congress President H.S. Lucky, former Mayor of the Corporation, and Congress leader Chandramukhi Sharma. Mr. Tiwari commended Councillor Buterla's team for providing all kinds of relief materials, including rations, clothing, bedding, tarpaulins, and torches, to families affected by the recent floods in Punjab.
Mr. Tiwari commended Councillor Buterla's team for their contribution in saving precious lives by organizing such checkup camps and blood donation camps, along with other social work, to care for the health of the area residents.
Doctors conducted dental checkups, blood tests, eye tests, and health and fitness assessments at the camp. Councillor Munnawar also donated blood. A team of doctors from the General Hospital in Sector 16 collected 110 units of blood.
Among others present on the occasion were Aam Aadmi Party State President Vijaypal, Sunny Aulakh, Chandigarh Cooperative Bank Director Gurpreet Singh Badheri, Manjeet Rana, Senior Deputy Mayor Jasbir Singh Bunty, Councillors Prem Lata, Damanpreet Singh Badal, employee leaders Gurmel Singh Sidhu, Avtar Singh Manimajra, AAP leaders P.P. Ghai, J.D. Ghai, and others.
Refreshments were provided for everyone, including the blood donors, at the camp. They were honored with certificates and saplings.
