Chandigarh, October 6 - The Haryana Government has issued strict instructions to the Police Administration to ensure the convenience of the public and smooth operation of traffic in the state. In these instructions, special emphasis has been laid on maintaining law and order, so that normal public life is not affected.

The order issued by Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Dr. Sumita Mishra has said that no person or group will be allowed to block roads, highways or public roads under any circumstances. Doing so not only inconveniences the common citizens, but also affects the law and order situation.
In these instructions, all the Commissioners of Police, District Superintendents of Police and the concerned administrative units have been directed to be vigilant and keep special vigil on sensitive areas. Emphasis has been laid on ensuring preventive and enforcement action to prevent any possible situation.
The Home Department also said that constant coordination should be maintained between the local administration and the police, so that immediate action can be taken in case of any kind of untoward incident or obstruction.
The instructions state that if any person or organization violates these orders, strict legal action will be taken against them.
