
MoU signed with Honda Company for C&Waste Management in the presence of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.
Chandigarh, September 28- Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini held a special meeting with leading Japanese companies in Gurugram on Sunday and appealed for maximum investment in Haryana. During this, an MoU was also signed with Honda Company for C&Waste Management, under which the government will provide land and waste for the plant establishment, while Honda Company will make tiles from waste.
Chandigarh, September 28- Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini held a special meeting with leading Japanese companies in Gurugram on Sunday and appealed for maximum investment in Haryana. During this, an MoU was also signed with Honda Company for C&Waste Management, under which the government will provide land and waste for the plant establishment, while Honda Company will make tiles from waste.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Japan from October 6 to 8, in which he will visit the Haryana Pavilion in particular. Under this, he held a meeting with senior officials of major Japanese companies established in Haryana and while discussing increasing investment, the Chief Minister gave his approval for the establishment of a cluster in Narayangarh. He said that Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab are very close to Narayangarh, the distance between them is only 40 to 45 km, which will give a special boost to trade.
Discussing the best water facility in Manesar, the Chief Minister said that the DPR is ready for this and the work will be started by getting the tender soon. He said that the availability of water in Manesar will be ensured through a pipeline from the Munak Canal, for which a provision of about Rs 3 thousand crore has been made. He said that this arrangement is being made in view of the possibility of population increase in the coming 25-30 years, due to which there will be no problem of water.
He also stressed on the high level of disposal of water filled with chemicals from industrial units, for which he stressed on adopting advanced technologies. In the first phase, this arrangement will be made in Manesar at a cost of about 78 crores, due to which industrial units will be able to reuse water.
The Chief Minister stressed on giving impetus to useful works through CSR. He said that the CSR money should be spent through the Commissioner so that the best use of that money can be made. The common man should get maximum benefit from CSR. Model Sanskriti schools are being established every ten kilometers in Haryana. Good work can be done under CSR in this direction.
The Chief Minister said that arrangements are being made for fire brigades of advanced technology. In the first phase, these will be arranged in Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonepat. He also informed that the government has taken steps towards establishing ten new IMTs for which about 6-7 thousand acres of land have been registered on the e-Bhoomi portal. On this, the Chief Minister assured that he would provide all the necessary NOCs within the stipulated time. He said that a 500 MW green energy plant will also be set up in Haryana for which an MoU has been signed.
Meanwhile, Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh appealed to the industrial units to work with the government administration to accelerate CSR activities so that the people will get the benefits of it effectively.
