Garhshanker: Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society (regd) Punjab meeting was held in Government Elementary School of village Moila Wahid under the leadership of founder president Satish Kumar Soni. In which Santokh Singh Joint Secretary Block Garhshanker, Surjit Singh Member Block, Sardar Jaswinder Singh Sarpanch Wahidpur, Makhan Singh Panch, Sardarni Ranjit Kaur Sarpanch Moila, Baljit Kaur Panch, Gurdayal Singh Panch Moila, Master Harbhajan Singh Retired DP participated.
In which it was decided that Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab will organize Lohri of daughters in village Moila Wahidpur. This meeting was held regarding the preparations for the same. On this occasion, founder president of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Satish Kumar Soni said that the society has been running Dharti Bachao, Beti Bachao campaign for the last eight years (2017).
During which the society goes to different villages and celebrates Lohri for newborn girls aged one to two years. So far, the society has organized Lohri for seven daughters in a row and this eighth Dhiyaan Di Lohri will be organized in village Moila Wahidpur on Sunday, January 12, 2025. For which the people of the society discussed with the Sarpanch and Panch Sahaban of village Moila and Wahidpur today. On which they gave general consent and assured full cooperation.
Meanwhile, Sarpanch Sardarni Ranjit Kaur of village Moila and Sarpanch Sardar Jaswinder Singh of village Wahidpur said in a joint statement that it is a matter of great happiness that Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society has chosen our village for organizing Dhiyaan Di Lohri. In this event, full cooperation will be given by our entire Panchayat and villagers and all the villagers will participate. This is a special event to be held in our village, which will provide better guidance to our society.
