Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, December 31, 2024: Giving warm greetings to the residents of the district on the occasion of the arrival of the New Year, Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Renu Singh expressed his commitment to provide better and quality health facilities to the people. She said that the District Health Department is determined and confident that the process of providing good health facilities to the people in government health institutions will continue during the New Year as well and wherever any deficiency is seen, it will be filled immediately. 
She said that the New Year not only encourages us to work with new energy, dedication and dedication, but also motivates us to continue the good work done during the previous year. She said that the Health Department of District SAS Nagar is proud that it has ensured high standard and excellent health facilities for the people in the year 2024 by making proper use of the available resources and available conditions. 
She reiterated that the benefits of health schemes being run by the Central and Punjab Government are being continuously given to the people in every government health institution of the district. Wishing good health, happiness and prosperity to the people during the new year, the senior health officer said that while the Health Department is doing its best for the well-being of the people, it is also the duty of the people to ensure cleanliness in their homes and surroundings, take precautions to prevent diseases, immediately reach the government health institution if any symptoms of any disease appear and fully cooperate with the hospital staff. 
Appealing to the people, She said that the Health Department has run a free medical helpline number 104 to help the people, which should be taken full advantage of. Dr. Renu Singh also wished the health workers a happy new year and asked them to provide health services to the people in a better manner.
