SAS Nagar, September 04: In the wake of continuous rainfall, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today visited several areas of Zirakpur to review the situation and directed Municipal Council officials to ensure immediate arrangements for drainage of accumulated water.

He first visited the Singhpura to Nagla Road stretch to take stock of waterlogging on the roads. Later, he visited Sanauli area, Gazipur underpass, and nearby colonies, instructing officials to expedite the drainage work.
The MLA also inspected services at the Dhakoli Community Health Centre, ensuring that people face no difficulty in accessing healthcare during this difficult time caused by flooding.
In addition, he reached Shri Guru Nanak Enclave and the adjoining park, where he assured residents that comprehensive cleaning and restoration works would be carried out after the monsoon season.
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa reaffirmed that the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government is fully committed to the safety and convenience of citizens, and every necessary step will be taken without delay.
