Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 04: Chairperson of District Planning Committee Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and District President of Aam Aadmi Party Prabhjot Kaur, with the help of Mohali team, today took relief material from Mohali to flood-affected villages Munda, Kadka and Johal Dahewala of Goindwal Sahib constituency and distributed it and the condition of the affected families was ascertained. She did this distribution as per the guidelines of MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura of Khadoor Sahib constituency.
On this occasion, in the presence of MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Prabhjot Kaur and the entire Mohali team provided relief materials for the people, which included bran and feed for the animals, and rations including moong dal, black gram, rice, juice, sugar, tea leaves, mustard oil and biscuits.
Chairperson Prabhjot Kaur said that the people of the flood-affected areas are facing difficult times, and the people of Mohali stand firmly with them. She said that a high-level committee has been formed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to monitor the relief and rescue operations in the flood-affected districts, so that the necessary help reaches the people in time.
She said that the Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs and Aam Aadmi Party workers are personally going to the spot and helping the people. Along with this, she assured the people that whatever goods are required, they will be delivered to them without delay.
