SAS Nagar, April 27 - Former President of Mohali Property Consultants Association Shalinder Anand has written to Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann demanding that GAMADA should visit the homes of senior citizens and disabled persons like Tehsil Office Facilitation of identification should be given after photographing.

Mr. Anand wrote in the letter, that those who have obtained the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC) for sale, transfer, purchase, etc. of their property by GAMADA have been given mandatory instructions to appear in the office and have their photograph taken. And without this NOC papers are not submitted. He said that this decision of Gamada, implemented to prevent any kind of fraud, is good for the common people. But this is creating a huge problem for the senior citizens and the disabled who are unable to walk and are therefore unable to attend the GAMADA office themselves for the NOC.

In the letter, Mr. Shalinder Anand has said that at present the Tehsil Office is providing facilities to senior citizens and the disabled that if a person is unable to move, the Tehsildar himself reaches the house of such people and registers the documents and identifies them. .

He said that it is the duty of the state government to provide all kinds of facilities to the senior citizens and the disabled, but in the case of Gamada, there is a delay due to which the senior citizens and the disabled are facing huge difficulties. They demanded that like all tehsil offices across Punjab, GAMADA and POODA should also provide facilities to senior citizens and disabled persons to visit their homes and take their photographs and get their identification.

He requested the Chief Minister to issue immediate instructions to the GAMDA officials in this regard so that the senior citizens and the disabled do not face any problem in obtaining No Objection Certificates for their properties. .

Mr. Anand has also sent a copy of the letter to Chief Secretary Punjab, Principal Secretary Punjab Government Housing and Urban Development Department and Chief Administrator GAMADA.
