Mandi Gobindgarh, June 14 – A guest lecture on “Cyber ??Security” was conducted during the ongoing ATC camp by 1 PB Naval Unit at Desh Bhagat University here. On this occasion, Captain Harjit Singh Deol (Commanding Officer) welcomed Inspector Amit Singh and Sub-Inspector Sunaina (State Cyber ??Crime Mohali) as resource persons of the event.
On this occasion, Inspector Amit Singh said that the aim of cyber security is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect computer operating systems, networks and data from cyber attacks. Cyber ??security as a profession has been evolving over the years and cyber-crimes are also on the rise. It is necessary to be vigilant at all times. Sub-inspector Sunaina added that any businessman who transacts online or holds sensitive data needs a cyber security professional to protect himself from such criminals.
To avoid cyber fraud, you should take care of your data. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the enlightening lecture on cyber crime conducted during the NCC camp.
