Mobile vans run for voter awareness in Patiala district

Patiala, December 11 - Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Chandigarh has run a mobile van to make voters aware about EVMs and VVPETs across Punjab. This van is to be operated in all constituencies of Patiala district till December 14.

The main purpose of this mobile van is to make every voter of the constituency aware about making votes, correcting votes and voting. By playing video clips in the van and voting through the EVM machine and making them aware of the EVM and VVPAT machine. This machine is a boon to strengthen India's democracy.
   This van was flagged off by the District Sweep Nodal Officer, Patiala Savinder Rekhi from Mini Secretariat, Patiala as per the instructions of the District Election Officer, Patiala and he himself went along with the van and informed the people about it. made aware
    The van stopped at various places in Patiala district like Gurdwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib, Railway Station, Old/New Bus Stand, Sri Kali Devi Temple, Fuara Chowk and other different places to educate the voters. On reaching Government Mahindra College, Patiala, this van was welcomed by College Principal Amarjit Singh. This van will contribute to the awareness of voters in various constituencies of Patiala district as per the plan.
