Chandigarh: 1st December, 2023: An Important Awareness Program for NPS (National Pension System) employees held at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh on 30th Nov, 2023 . This informative program was graced by Mr. Amit Jaiswal Assistant Manager at Protean e-Gov Technologies Ltd, (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd.). He was welcomed by Col. RM Joshi , Registrar, PEC along with all the staff members of the institute.
At first, Col. RM Joshi briefed about the NPS scheme and explained the need for its subscriptions to all the government employees and citizens at large. Further he explained the difference between NPS (National Pension System) and OPS (Old Pension Scheme) as well to the audience present.
Afterwards, Mr. Jaiswal explained about the features and benefits of having an NPS Account. He explained the step-by-step process of investing in an NPS Account. Benefits of investing money at an early stage. Choice of PFM's offered along with low cost of structure. Also the liquidity involved with NPS account.
Recently, Col. RM Joshi , provided a token of love to Mr. Amit Jaiswal and thanked him for such an interactive and much needed session of National Pension System.
