
Three persons who carried out the theft of gold and silver were arrested, 143 tolas of gold and 103 tolas of silver were recovered.

A case was registered and investigation was carried out. He further said that under the able leadership of Sarfraz Alam SP City Patiala and Sanjeev Singla DSP City-1 Patiala, Chief Officer of Police Station Kotwali Patiala Inspector Sukhwinder Singh Gill and his police party conducted a thorough investigation and arrested unknown persons who had stolen. Identified as Aditya alias Bihari son of late Sagar, Raja son of Jaspal resident of Bhim Nagar Deha Colony police station Lahori Gate Patiala and Anjali wife Raja were nominated. The said three persons were arrested from different places. Aditya was arrested from Badi Nadi Pul Patiala and so far 868 grams of gold and 418 grams of silver were recovered from him, Raja was arrested and 542 grams of gold and 615 grams of silver were recovered from his side and Anjali was arrested from Rajpura Chungi and 25 grams of gold was seized. So far these people have succeeded in extracting a total of 143 tolas of gold and 103 tolas of silver.
Cases of alcohol and theft have also been registered against these persons. Varun Sharma said that Patiala Police is always ready to protect the life and property of people. No wrongdoer will be spared.
