
A memorandum was submitted to the ADC to get rid of the traffic jam that has become a serious problem for the people of many wards.
Patiala: October 03:- A memorandum was submitted to Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Simarpreet Kaur by the office bearers of the social service organization Baba Sahib Bhalai Manch, led by General Secretary Bhalinder Singh Tony, to get rid of the serious problem of long traffic jams caused by students parking illegally on both sides of the road outside Khalsa College located on Badungar Road. In which the office bearers Bhalinder Singh Tony, Harnek Singh Saini, Sharm Singh Subedar and Shankar said that students park their vehicles on both sides of the road outside Khalsa College.

Due to which there is a traffic jam here every day for hours, the long traffic jam on the road has become a serious problem for the people of Ward No. 54, 56, 60 and the villages adjacent to the area. If a sick person has to go to the hospital for any urgent work or duty, they get stuck in this traffic jam on Badungar Road. A woman, Surjit Kaur, who suffered a heart attack and died after being stuck in this traffic jam for 35 minutes, died due to not reaching the hospital on time.
He said that the Baba Sahib Welfare Manch and the residents of the area have already made a demand to close the illegal parking outside the college. On which the administration has not yet solved this problem in practical terms. Due to which, once again, a strong appeal has been made to the administration through a memorandum to close the parking immediately so that people can travel without any problem.
