Garhshankar 18 September (Balvir Chaupra) According to the decision taken by the State Committee of Old Pension Restoration Committee of Punjab, by the MLA of Garhshankar constituency and Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy, Under the leadership of Convener Satpal Minhas a protest letter was submitted by the employees of Old Pension Restoration Sangharsh Committee Unit Garhshankar and Mahilpur Block, and demanded that the government should soon issue SOP to implement the old pension in Punjab and ensure social security of two lakh employees and their families under NPS of Punjab. 

After this, while giving information, Convener Satpal Minhas said that in the meeting held with the Old Pension Restoration Struggle Committee at Punjab Bhawan on April 6, the Punjab Government had promised to issue SOP for restoration of old pension within two months, but till now Even after five months had passed, he did not fulfill his promise. Along with this, Mahilpur's colleague Paramjeet Katib said that the new government formed in Punjab's neighboring state Himachal Pradesh has implemented the old pension as soon as it came to power. Along with this, Rajasthan government also implemented the old pension and opened GPF accounts of all the employees recruited after 2004. The committee has strongly demanded that the Punjab government, after taking guidance from the neighboring states, should soon implement its announcement of implementing the old age pension in Punjab as well, fulfill the promise made to the employees and secure the old age pension of the employees. On this occasion, Amarjeet Singh, Manoj Kumar, Nitin Suman, Dilbag Singh, Ashwini Kumar, Parminder Pakhowal, Harjinder Kumar, Subhash Chandra, Vijay, Ashok Kumar, Balkar Singh, Dalwinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh from GTU, Surinder Kumar, Naresh Kumar and Sham.
