Patiala- Punjab Air Force NCC Battalion Commanding Officer Ajay Bhardwaj, while observing the demonstrations of NCC cadets on first aid, CPR, fire safety, rescue and transport of victims at Veer Haqiqat Rai Model Senior Secondary School, Patiala, highly praised Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar and NCC Officer Sachna Sharma and said that all cadets should be trained on disaster management, first aid, CPR, fire safety, rescue and transport of victims, use of fire extinguishers, so that cadets and NCC officers can act as the second line of defense to save victims and properties during wars, disasters and incidents.
Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar thanked Commanding Officer Commanding Officer Bhardwaj Ji and said that his students, NCC cadets, scout guides and NSS volunteers are given this training by Mr. Kaka Ram Verma Ji, who is a Disaster Management, Civil Defense, First Aid, Fire Safety Trainer of the Government of India, and a retired Training Supervisor of the Indian Red Cross Society.
He also organizes inter-school competitions for students on these subjects. He requested Kaka Ram Verma to give this training to each of his students in groups of 50-50.
Kaka Ram Verma thanked and said that he gives training to students in all schools and NSS and NCC camps. The Principal of Veer Haqiqat Rai School always supports his students in getting First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety training.
NCC Officer Sachna Sharma thanked the CO, the school management, her principal madam and uncle Ram Verma and said that her NCC cadets perform better than other cadets even in the annual camps.
