Una, September 17 - The road from Bhadasali to Km 3/0 on NH 503A towards the Punjab and Himachal border is dangerous for heavy vehicles (double- or multi-axle vehicles). Therefore, for the safety of the general public, the road has been completely closed until further orders.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that this order was issued under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. He explained that Bhadasali Road, located on National Highway NH 503-A, was damaged due to heavy rains on September 2, due to which vehicular traffic on the road was closed.
He stated that to avoid any inconvenience to traffic, traffic was diverted from Jaijon Mod via the link road to Bhadasali.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to install advance signage to inform the public about the road closure and to inform them of the diversion.
