Chandigarh, July 23 - Haryana Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Shruti Chaudhary has thanked Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini for the decision of the Haryana government to quash cases registered against Anganwadi workers and helpers during the agitation in the state. The Minister said that this decision will provide relief to Anganwadi workers and helpers.
Let us tell you that in the year 2021-22, Anganwadi workers and helpers had staged an agitation, during which police cases were registered against Anganwadi workers and helpers in Gurugram, Dadri and Karnal etc. In this regard, reports were submitted from time to time by the officials of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union for the cancellation of police cases, on which the government has sympathetically considered and decided to cancel all such cases.
