
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini inaugurated the renovated Nature Camp Thapli
Chandigarh, July 23 - The Haryana government is continuously making efforts to promote tourism in the state and ensure sustainable use of natural resources. In this series, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini on Wednesday inaugurated the renovated Nature Camp Thapli in the Morni area of Panchkula district. On this occasion, he also inaugurated the renovated eco-cottage. Along with this, he inspected the Ayurvedic Panchakarma Center and reviewed the health services available there.

In this series, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini on Wednesday inaugurated the renovated Nature Camp Thapli in the Morni area of Panchkula district. On this occasion, he also inaugurated the renovated eco-cottage. Along with this, he inspected the Ayurvedic Panchakarma Center and reviewed the health services available there.
Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister Rao Narbir Singh and Kalka MLA Smt. Shakti Rani Sharma were also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister flagged off a team for trekking on the nature trail constructed from Kalka to Klesar here. This track will attract the youth of Haryana towards adventure tourism and will help in rebranding the state as an adventure and nature tourism hub. The Chief Minister said that adventure tourism is an area of interest to today's youth and this will not only expand tourism but also create new employment opportunities for the local youth.
Message of planting trees for environmental protection
The Chief Minister also gave a message of environmental protection by planting a tree at Triphala Vatika located in Morni area. He said that the state government is fully committed to the protection and sustainable development of natural resources. We are trying to connect tourism not only with entertainment, but also with nature, culture and health.
The Chief Minister also inspected the Climate Change Learning Lab set up at the Nature Camp. In this lab, children can learn about the factors affecting the environment and their sources through games. Such a learning lab not only connects children with scientific facts, but also motivates them to become responsible citizens towards the environment.
Along with increasing tourism, local culture and natural conservation will also get emphasis
The Chief Minister said that the geographical beauty, biodiversity and peaceful environment of the Morni region make it very suitable for nature tourism. The government's strategy is to develop this region as an entire eco-tourism model. Which will also encourage the participation and culture of the local people.
He said that with the development of facilities in these hilly areas, on the one hand, more tourists will be attracted, on the other hand, the local people will get new employment and business opportunities. The government is trying to continuously boost tourism development in the state by making such areas centers for healthy tourism, yoga, Ayurveda and adventure activities.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of the Environment, Forest and Wildlife Department, Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. Vineet Kumar Garg, OSD to the Chief Minister, Mr. Bharat Bhushan Bharti and other dignitaries were present.
