Una, June 19- On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a district level Yoga Day celebration will be organized in Una district on June 21 in the premises of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela. Organized with the theme of Yoga for One Earth, One Health, this celebration will start at 6.30 am on June 21. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal will be present as the chief guest on this occasion. This information was given by District Ayurveda Officer Kiran Sharma.
He said that the objective of this celebration organized by the District AYUSH Department is to increase awareness about yoga among the general public and to promote a healthy lifestyle by making yoga a part of daily life. In the program, yoga teachers of the department will practice various yoga exercises, pranayama and subtle exercises.
He has called upon the people of the district to participate in this event in maximum numbers, adopt yoga in life and contribute towards making the society healthy and balanced.
