Sonepat, June 16- The body found in a canal adjoining the National Capital Region in Kharkhoda area has been identified. The body is said to be that of Haryanvi model Sheetal. She was a resident of Khalila Mazra in Panipat and was currently living with her sister Neha in Sat Kartar Colony in Panipat.
 Sheetal's sister had filed a complaint about Sheetal's disappearance at the police station in the old industrial area of ??Panipat on Sunday.
It is being told that Sheetal was with her boyfriend, whose car has been recovered near the canal. It is heard that Sheetal had told her sister through a video call that her boyfriend had beaten her and that her neck was also injured. After this, she lost contact with her sister. Later on Sunday night, Sheetal's body was found in the NCR water channel (canal) of Kharkhoda. 
Kharkhoda police were trying to identify the body. Police station in-charge Prem said that a report has been received from Panipat about the girl's disappearance. The complainant is being contacted. Prima facie, the deceased has been identified as Sheetal. The family will come from Panipat and confirm it.
