Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction of streets in Ward No. 19 Purhiran of Hoshiarpur at a cost of about Rs. 16 lakh. On this occasion, he said that these development works are being done on the demand of the local residents, which will provide great relief to the people of the area.
MLA Jimpa appreciated the contribution of the local residents in the development works. He specially mentioned Manu Gupta and Tarlochan Singh and said that they donated one foot of land each for the widening of the street, which shows their contribution to social service and public interest.
The MLA said that this area was quite low from the road, due to which water and other problems had to be faced during rainy days. After the completion of the street construction work, the local people will get rid of this problem. He assured the ward residents that their every problem will be resolved and no deficiency will be left in the development works.
MLA Jimpa said that the government is continuously promoting development works keeping in mind the interests of the people. He assured that in the coming time more important development works will be completed, which can make the city modern and convenient.
