Chandigarh, August 1-Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that it was decided in the state cabinet meeting that the upcoming session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha will begin from August 22.
The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference held in Chandigarh, in which he informed about the important decisions taken by the cabinet.

Poor-centric policies, steps towards a strong India
The Chief Minister said that for the last 11 years, the Central Government and the Haryana Government under the presidency of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi have been making schemes keeping the poor in mind. He said that the government's goal is to make the poor strong and empowered, while the Congress government has been making schemes only for the big men.

Government's tough stance on law and order
The Chief Minister has made it clear that the government is completely serious about maintaining law and order. He said that police officers have been instructed to take the right decision on the spot to deal with crimes.

Targeting the opposition
Taking a dig at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that the opposition is only an expert in propaganda. They do not talk about Congress-ruled states like Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana, they only point fingers at Haryana.

Election announcements vs. ground work
The Chief Minister described the Congress manifesto as just an election ploy while the BJP government believes in bringing every promise to the ground level. He said that the government is doing development work at three times the speed without any discrimination or regionalism.

Action plan prepared for Lado Laxmi Yojana
The Chief Minister said that an action plan is being prepared for the implementation of Lado Laxmi Yojana and the portal will also be released soon.

Historic decision in favor of farmers
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken many historic decisions in favor of farmers. He said that the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released on August 2, due to which money will reach the accounts of lakhs of farmers directly.
On this occasion, Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, Director General of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department Shri K. M. Pandurang, Media Secretary Shri Praveen Atreya and other senior officials were present.
