Patiala- Lions Club Patiala New Central of Lions International organized the installation ceremony of the new team for the year 2025-26 under the leadership of President Lion Sanjeev Verma. On this occasion, Sohinder Kansal of Lions International said that Function Chairperson MJF Line Dr. RMS Bajwa and MJF Engineer Narinder Singh honored the guests by offering flowers.
The program began with the ceremony of Jyoti Prachanda by the guests, after which a prayer was read and the national anthem was sung. In this program, the chief guest Lion Ajay Goyal MJF First Vice District Governor told the new team of the club about their duties and tasks for 2025-26 and appointed Lion Harmesh Singla as the President of Lions Club Patiala New Central, KK Bansal as the Secretary, Sandeep Dhawan as the Treasurer.
The rest of the team includes Sanjay Goyal PRO, SK Goyal Vice President-2, Bir Chand Khurmi Vice President No.-1, besides MJF Line Naresh Goyal Second Vice District Governor administered the oath to five new members of the club Sanjeev Kumar, Suresh Garg, Vipin Bansal, Narinder Kumar and Rajinder Agarwal. After this, the newly elected President Harmesh Singla said that the new team will complete the work started by the first team with full dedication and will take the club to greater heights.
KK Bansal presented the secretary report, in which he said that Lions Club Patiala New Central is running at number one in the entire district. He said that in the first 53 days of the new year which started from 1st July, the club had done 45 projects which included Doctor’s Day, Mega Medical Checkup Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Marriage of a needy girl, Tree Plantation at different places, Dry Ration Distribution, Distribution of 600 Tulsi Saplings and other projects.
MJF Line Yash Pal Sood highlighted the activities of Lines International. Finally Line Harmesh Singla thanked all the guests, women, Line members and children who came. On this occasion, the family members of the club president, his wife Manju Singla, Puneet Singla, Lal Chand Singla, Ramesh Goyal, Amit Bansal, Master Aditya Singla, Ramit Goyal, Baby Innaa and Sumaira were specially present.
Club members included Lions Dr. Manu Sharma, Pushpdeep Saluja, Baljit Singh, Barinder Verma, Dharinder Mittal, Dharampal Garg, Nitin Singla, Gagan Goyal, Suresh Kumar Garg, guests included SK Kochhar, RS Bedi, Anil Mehta ZC, Dr. Anil Kapoor ZC, Hanish Goyal President Lions Club Patiala Supreme, Yadvinder Singla President Patiala Fort and other Lions.
