Garhshankar- Sri Sandeep Malik IPS/SSP Sahib Hoshiarpur Ji under the campaign against drug smugglers led by Shri Dr. Mukesh Kumar SP-D Hoshiarpur Ji and Shri Jaspreet Singh Deputy Superintendent of Police Sub. As per the instructions of Division Garhshankar ji, Inspector Jaipal, Chief Officer, Garhshankar Police Station, under the supervision of ASI Ukar Singh, Chowki Binewal, Garhshankar Police Station, along with a police party, during a patrol, arrested Gagandeep Singh alias Sonu, son of Gurbachan Singh, resident of Guru Nanak Nagar, Navasahar, from village Dallewal and recovered 10 grams of heroin from him. A case No. 83 dated 22-05-2025 under Section 21-61-85 NDPS ACT, Garhshankar Police Station, was registered against him and the accused was produced in court and police remand was obtained for further investigation.
