S.A.S. Nagar, May 22- Due to the storm and strong winds last night, power supply was badly affected in most parts of the city and people had to face a lot of inconvenience due to lack of essential power supply.
The situation was more or less the same in Sector 94, where power supply was cut off around 5 pm yesterday and it could not be restored till today afternoon. Local resident Dr. Jatinder Singh Kapoor said that the power supply was cut off when the storm came in the evening and it has not been restored yet. He said that in Sector 94, located in Janta Land, power supply has been affected earlier also and even if there is a slight rain, the power supply is cut off, which remains off for several hours.
He said that no accurate information is being received even on the WhatsApp group created in this regard and after every two hours it is said that it will take some more time. He said that the inverters in people's homes had completely stopped working during the night and since this morning, people are suffering without electricity in the scorching heat, but there is no one to listen to them.
