The population level in Tangri river had reached above the danger mark this morning. More than 30 thousand cusecs of water entered the river in the morning, which could pose a threat to the people living in the inner area of ??Tangri river. Seeing this, Energy Minister Anil Vij reviewed the areas near Tangri river in the morning and gave directions to the district administration.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Energy Minister Vij said that water is flowing in the Tangri river due to heavy rainfall in the mountains. Today, more than 30 thousand cusecs of water has flowed into the river, which is much more than normal. He said that before the rainy season, we had done a lot of work to dam the Tangri river, but due to some obstacles, only 25 percent of the work could be done, the rest of the work will be done after the rainy season.
Mr. Vij said that keeping in mind the security, the NDRF has been called to Ambala Cantonment and boats have also been called to deal with any problem. He said that people whose houses are near the Tangri river or in the catchment area are being asked to come out of the Tangri river with their essential goods.
It is worth noting that water had flowed into the Tangri river several times in the rainy season as well, which had been safely drained. This time, the river was dug with the efforts of Minister Anil Vij and the water could flow out safely due to the river being deep.

Various departments were instructed to work quickly -
Energy Minister Anil Vij, while inspecting the Tangri river area in the morning, directed the Irrigation Department, Police, Municipal Council and other departments to work in coordination. He said that the people living in the river area should be asked to go to safe places through announcements. He said that Jagadhari Minister Anil Vij stood on the Tangri river bridge and saw the flow of water. After this, the Minister gave directions to the Ambala Cantt SDM, Police, Irrigation Department and departments.

In view of the rising water level in Tangri river, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij reviewed colonies on both sides of Tangri river in the morning and directed people to move to safer places. Mr. Vij reviewed colonies on Tangri Bandh Road after Tangri river bridge, Matidas Nagar, Golden Park and up to Bayal.
He checked the water level of the river, after which he also reviewed Prabhu Prem Puram, Kardhan, Naggal etc. areas passing through Rampur, Sarsehri. During this, the administration was instructed to make announcements repeatedly.
