Chandigarh:-- Municipal Corporation along with ward number 24 councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty conducted an anti-rabies vaccination campaign. During this anti-rabies campaign conducted in the community center of sector 42, stray dogs were caught and given anti-rabies injections.
According to area councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty, sector residents were complaining about the increasing number of stray dogs and the fear of disease spreading due to their bites. Regarding which, anti-rabies vaccination campaign was conducted in collaboration with the team of PFA department of Municipal Corporation. During this, anti-rabies injections were given to stray dogs and some dogs were taken from there to Makhan Majra Dog Pond Center for sterilization.
37 dogs were vaccinated at various places in the ward itself. He said that in the near future this campaign will also be run in other parts of the ward. This camp will also be set up by the Municipal Corporation in Sector 53, 54 and 55 tomorrow.
