Patiala- Following the orders of Punjab Police officials, ASI Ram Saran of Traffic Education Cell informed the students of Veer Haqiqat Rai Model Senior Secondary School, Patiala about the duties to avoid accidents while walking on the road, right of way i.e. to go first on the roads, use of good helmet, walking according to the color of the lights and stopping on one's side, crossing the road at the intersection and walking, parents keeping their purse, mobile phone on the left side.

Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Instructor Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Instructor of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission, made them aware about providing first aid to the victims of traffic accidents, calling police, ambulance, fire brigade as per the need and using helpline numbers for cyber security.
Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar, while expressing her gratitude, said that only by repeatedly informing children, youths and parents about traffic, rules, laws, principles, duties and responsibilities, showing patience, peace and politeness on the roads and giving proper first aid to the injured and taking them to the hospital, their habits, environment, feelings and thoughts can be changed and they can be made good, responsible and loyal citizens.
She informed that a traffic committee has been formed in the school and students and teachers are being made aware in this regard.
