SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that people are getting rid of chronic diseases by practicing yoga in the Chief Minister Yogashalas running completely free of cost in Mohali.
According to instructor Pooja Rawat, the number of participants in the session (yoga class) is increasing daily and six yoga sessions are being organized by them every day. In which these six classes are organized by them from 4.50 am to 6.00 pm. Giving more information, yoga instructor Pooja Rawat told that she organizes yoga sessions at different places in Mohali.
The first class is held in Phase-4, Sector-59 from 4.50 am to 5.50 am, the second and fifth classes are held in Gayatri Mandir Phase-1, Sector-55 from 5.55 am to 6.55 am and then from 3.50 pm to 4.50 pm, the third and fourth classes are held in (Park 23), Phase-1, Sector-55 from 7.00 am to 8.00 am and from 8.05 pm to 9.05 pm and the sixth class is held in Park-19, Phase-1 from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Instructor Pooja Rawat said that as the number of participants in her classes is increasing, the enthusiasm of the participants is also increasing.
They share their views with each other that they have got relief from many chronic diseases in the yoga sessions being organized under CM Yogashala. 6 yoga sessions are being organized daily in different sectors of Mohali, in which more than 105 city residents are participating and making their lifestyle more active.
He said that daily practice of yoga is proving to be very beneficial for the mental and physical fitness of the body. Daily practice of yoga helps in getting rid of chronic diseases. He said that during the yoga sessions, there are some people who are attending yoga classes without any interruption and have made yoga a part of their daily life.
