Chandigarh, August 27 - Public Works Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that the construction work of bypass in Kosli will start soon. In response to a question asked by Kosli MLA Mr. Anil Yadav in the Vidhan Sabha session, the Minister Mr. Gangwa said that the proposed bypass is 3.83 km long and 23.09 acres of land is to be purchased under the construction.
The rates for the purchase of this land were approved by the High Power Land Purchase Committee (HPLPC) on July 06, 2024 and the Deputy Commissioners Rewari and Jhajjar were directed to obtain consent on the affidavit from each landowner.
At present, out of 507 landowners, 201 landowners have given affidavits. Construction work will begin once all the land is available.
