Chandigarh, May 13- The executive members of the union led by Anu Kumar, President of Class Four Employees Union Education Department (Regd.) Chandigarh, held a meeting with Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu from Chandigarh. During the meeting, the union apprised the MP about the long pending problems and demands of Direct DC Rate, Outsourcing and Mid-Day Meal employees in Group D.
During the meeting, the union demanded that Direct DC Rate and Outsourcing employees be paid salary under Basic + DA, so that they can get economic security suitable for minimum standard of living. Also, it was demanded that the duty time of Mid-Day Meal employees be fixed at 4 hours and half the salary as per DC rate should be given.
Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu listened carefully to all the demands and issues of the union and assured that he will take up all these matters on priority basis and try to get them resolved as soon as possible.
