Zirakpur/Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, May 6: Under the "Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Dwar" campaign launched by the Punjab government, 265 camps have been set up in Dera Bassi assembly constituency so far for the convenience of the people, which have benefited thousands of people. This was stated by Kuljit Singh Randhawa, MLA of Dera Bassi assembly constituency, after listening to the problems of the people during a camp organized in ward number 12 of Dhakoli area of ??Zirakpur today.

This was stated by Kuljit Singh Randhawa, MLA of Dera Bassi assembly constituency, after listening to the problems of the people during a camp organized in ward number 12 of Dhakoli area of ??Zirakpur today.
He said that the purpose of these camps is to provide the facility to the people to get government certificates and other works done near their homes. He said that out of the services being provided by the government through Seva Kendras, the benefits of 406 services can now be availed by just dialing the toll free number 1076.
On this occasion, he praised the steps taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to protect the water of Punjab and said that in the political history of Punjab, he is the first Chief Minister who stands in favor of Punjab with full courage. He said that first stopping the supply of excess water from the dam and later calling a session of the Assembly on this issue is a clear proof of the commitment of the Chief Minister of Punjab towards the people of his state.
He said that the anti-drug campaign in the state, Punjab Education Revolution and education reform for schools and improvement in health services, waiver of domestic electricity units up to 300 units etc. reflect the public-friendly thinking of the government. During the camp, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa heard the problems of the people who came to the camp and directed the concerned officials to resolve them on the spot.
Derabassi Sub-Divisional Magistrate Amit Gupta said that a large number of people from Ward No. 12 of Dhakoli area of ????Zirakpur, Derabassi and surrounding societies reached the camp and expressed their gratitude to the Punjab Government by taking advantage of the services.
In these camps, services like birth certificate, income certificate, residential certificate, scheduled and backward class certificate, old age, handicapped and dependent pension, name change in birth certificate, payment of electricity bills, verification of records related to revenue department, marriage registration, multiple copies of death certificate, rural area certificate, Fard banaana, Shagun scheme, demarcation of land, counter signature on NRI certificates, counter signature on police clearance certificate, change in death certificate etc. are provided. Officers and employees of various departments were also present on this occasion.
On this occasion, presidents of various nearby societies Amit Kashyap, Shivani Bhalla, Salil Brar, Shri Rathi, Amit Agarwal and BM Sharma ji took advantage of the camp by joining it and MLA Randhawa assured them to complete their other works as soon as possible.
