Chandigarh, June 29 - Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that Sant Kabir did the work of uniting the society and eradicating superstitions throughout his life. He was such a visionary who rose above caste, religion and class and gave the message of humanity.
The Public Works Minister was speaking as the chief guest at the 627th Prakash Utsav celebrations of Sant Kabir Sahib organized at Sant Kabir Hostel in Hisar on Sunday. He also announced a sum of Rs 21 lakh for Kabir Hostel. He also appreciated the arrangements of Sant Karir Hostel and assured that the government would take steps to further strengthen such institutions, so that students could get a better environment.
He said that the Haryana government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini is taking all sections of the society along. The birth anniversaries of all the great men are now being celebrated officially by the state government, due to which the message of unity and awareness is spreading in the society. He said that protecting the rights of the DSC society is the priority of the government. Now the youth of the society are being selected in government jobs without recommendation, without expenditure.
Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that it is the result of the policies of the Chief Minister that thousands of youth have got government jobs through a transparent recruitment process. The government is working on the principle of no expenditure, no slip and the youth are being given the fruits of their hard work.
He said that the development works being done in the state are being completed in a quality and transparent manner. The government is committed to improving basic amenities like roads, buildings and drinking water. The water supply and sewerage system is being modernized through the Public Health Engineering Department.
