Lucknow, May 3- Two people died due to a fire in a food factory here. According to the police, they received information about the fire at 4:30 pm. A police team with fire tenders reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Amit Kumawat said that biscuits were made in this factory but it was closed for about a year. However, welding work was going on at the time of the incident.
The ADCP said that with the efforts of 15 to 16 fire brigade vehicles including local police and fire brigade units, the fire was completely brought under control around 7 pm. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem. Kumawat said that further investigation is underway.
