Garhshankar 22/04/25- The 122nd birth anniversary of the great communist leader Comrade Lenin, who led the great Russian October Revolution of 1917, was celebrated by the people's organizations of Garhshankar in the form of a seminar in Gandhi Park Garhshankar under the leadership of Comrade Kulbhushan Kumar Mahindwani and Comrade Harmesh Dhesi.
At the beginning of the seminar, Ramji Das Chauhan and Sham Sundar threw light on the life of Comrade Lenin and said that he paved the way for the liberation of the working people through mass movement and struggles by practically implementing the ideas of the great Karl Marx against the atrocities committed on the people by the Russian ruler Tsar and gave a big blow to the capitalist system by establishing socialism in Russia, as a result of which the socialist system was established in about one-third of the world. Mukesh Kumar, Comrade Harmesh Dhesi and Principal Sarup Chand took the discussion forward and said that we need to understand and study the reasons for the backwardness of the socialist system at the international level and the decline of the communist movement in India because in a country like India, where class division as well as caste-based discrimination continues in the society, Marxist-Leninist ideas cannot be implemented without understanding the weaknesses of India's social structure.
Comrade Malkiyat Singh Bahowal concluded the discussion by saying that the only solution to the problems of unemployment, poverty, hunger and war created by capitalism in the entire world today can be found only by establishing a socialist system through a mass movement on the path shown by Comrade Lenin. Warning about the growing danger of communal and dictatorial forces in India, he said that at this time only the unity and struggle of all leftist and progressive forces can take the country out of this crisis. In the end, Balbir Khanpuri thanked the colleagues who participated in the discussion and said that we should celebrate the birthdays of such great revolutionary leaders on a large scale so that their people can be made a part of welfare public consciousness.
