Vancouver, April 6 - An armed suspect entered the E-block of the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon. However, the Canadian police managed to catch the suspect after several hours of struggle. However, no loss of life or property was caused during this time and the staff members hid in the rooms to save their lives. The police said that detailed information about the entire incident will be given at a press conference on Sunday.
According to the information, the armed person entered the E-block of the Parliament at around 2:45 pm. The members of the parliamentary staff hid in the adjacent rooms to save their lives and locked themselves from inside. Meanwhile, the Parliament Protective Service team was in chaos and during this time the police also reached the spot.
The people trapped inside were evacuated through other doors. The police closed all roads around Parliament Hill (Parliament House) and surrounded the Parliament.
