Hoshiarpur- Under the guidance of the teachers of the Commerce Department of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here, an educational tour of the famous city of Kurukshetra in Haryana was organized for the students. On this occasion, the students visited various temples, Brahm Sarovar, Museum Center, Panorama Center etc. located in Kurukshetra, the land of Mahabharata.
During the tour, the students got information about various contexts related to the Mahabharata period in the Krishna Museum located in Kurukshetra. The students also visited other temples including Jyotisar Temple, Mata Bhadrakali Temple and took special interest in the historical and mythological importance of these places. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Amarjoti, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Prof. Gurpreet Kaur and Prof. Anjali were present among the teachers who led the tour.
