As per the statement given by Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Madam Sakshi Sahni through social media, the owners of plots in cities and towns whose plots are vacant without a gate have been instructed to clean them. Orders have been issued to ban dumping of garbage in them. This responsibility lies with the owners of the plots.

He said that these orders should be implemented in the entire Punjab, so that the people of Punjab can be saved before new troubles arise in the future.
If any plot owner does not get the cleaning done, then it is the responsibility of the local administration to get this work done at its level and recover the cost from the plot owners. Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab has already put forward this demand before the government through the press. They said that the state government should implement these orders on priority basis to get the private owners of vacant plots cleaned in all the Punjab.
