After Congress, Akali-BJP, now the AAP party that has brought change has also run a shop of lies apart from looting and beating the people and burdening Punjab with heavy debt. For this reason, Bahujan Samaj Party has called upon the people to come together on one platform and take forward the campaign to save Punjab by organizing a huge gathering in Phagwara.
Expressing these words in a special conversation with journalists, BSP Punjab President and former Rajya Sabha member Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri said that BSP has come forward to save Punjab from being ruined, save the people dying from drug addiction and take care of the farmers and laborers sitting on the roads, which was started by organizing a state level gathering in Ashi Phagwara. Karimpuri said that BSP will give the people of the state such a change in the form of a government that will bring revolution in health, education, employment and industries.
Karimpuri said that mother's sons, sisters' brothers are dying due to drug addiction in the state and the government is also ruling on drugs. The law and order in the state has completely collapsed and due to the malice of the ruling party, the situation in the state is going from bad to worse. The government is disappearing from the eyes of the people by running a campaign against drugs and taking action against small smugglers or smugglers, while the ground reality is something else.
He said that BSP will gain the trust of the people and will end this oppression in the 2027 elections. Karimpuri said that Bahujan Samaj Party will take the movement of economic, social and political change started by Saheb Kanshiram to heights with the strength of the organization. BSP is not the party of any particular person but the struggle started by the leaders is the main goal, this is a new thinking. People can be the face of a party and faces can also disappear, that is why the election symbol of the party is the elephant. Karimpuri said that BSP is moving ahead with the development of all sections of the society in accordance with the thinking of Shri Kanshiram and Mayawati. The crowd gathered in the Punjab Sambhal rally in Phagwara is a witness to this and the people of Punjab are looking at BSP as an alternative to the politics of the state.
Karimpuri said that the state government has ruined the public and the treasury with its anti-people policies and has made people stand in lines to get ration. The economic condition has become unstable due to free schemes. He claimed that BSP will emerge as a strong party in the state and after coming to power, it will create a class of officers and not beggars. He said that the farmers, traders and working class of the state are being oppressed.
Due to increasing crime in the state, industries are getting empty of external investment, due to which new jobs are not being created. Karimpuri said that BSP is not the party of any particular class but the party of all the people of the country and the state. In response to a question about the budget, Karimpuri said that the Punjab government's budget is anti-women, farmers, laborers, Dalit backward classes, employees and industry, this budget will push Punjab into deep darkness.
He said that no concrete program has been made to reduce unemployment, issues related to the oppressed society, provide health and education facilities, the problem of lack of machinery and staff in government hospitals, save farmers and the poor, increase the wages of laborers, MNREGA workers, Asha and Anganwadi workers, temporary sanitation workers and contract employees, on the contrary, AAP has made Punjab more indebted by taking a loan of 95 thousand crores in the last three years.
