
Special scholarship schemes for needy and promising students in Khalsa College Mahilpur - Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh.
Mahilpur, 1 April - “Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School Mahilpur, which has been connecting students of Kandi region with higher education since 1946, has made separate arrangements for special scholarship amount and other facilities for needy and promising students taking admission in Science, Commerce and Arts streams of class XI and XII in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.”
Mahilpur, 1 April - “Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School Mahilpur, which has been connecting students of Kandi region with higher education since 1946, has made separate arrangements for special scholarship amount and other facilities for needy and promising students taking admission in Science, Commerce and Arts streams of class XI and XII in Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.”
These words were expressed by the college principal Dr. Parvinder Singh while releasing the prospectus of the senior secondary school in the presence of the collegiate staff. He said that this institution was established by the missionary thinking of Saint Baba Hari Singh Kaharpuri and its founder principal S. Harbhajan Singh, under which the task of connecting needy and promising students from every section of the society with higher education has been undertaken.
He said that under this missionary thinking, a student can ensure his admission by paying only Rs 2000 for admission in class XI and XII under the session 2025-26. He said that students coming from needy families can pay the remaining fees in installments as per their convenience.
He said that the college has a special arrangement of scholarship for the students under Sunny Oberoi Scholarship Scheme, Prince Harbhajan Singh Scholarship Scheme and Ajaib Kamal Literary Scholarship Scheme. There is a big concession in fees, food, accommodation and other facilities for the students who perform well in the field of sports.
He appealed to the students to reach the admission and counseling cell running in the college and take admission in the classes of the respective stream according to their career option. Prof. Kamalpreet Kaur, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Jasdeep Kaur, Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Ganesh, Prof. Ramandeep Kaur were present on this occasion.
