
IFTU leaders condemn arrest of farmer leaders
Nawanshahr- Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) state president Kulwinder Singh Waraich and state assistant secretary Avtar Singh Tari have strongly condemned the police raiding the houses of Samyukta Kisan Morcha leaders, arresting several leaders and stopping farmers going to Chandigarh on the roads.

The leaders said that this is blatant dictatorship of the Bhagwant Mann government. He said that in a democracy every section has the constitutional right to protest. Farmers were also going to Chandigarh to protest to get their demands accepted. He said that IFT supports the struggle of the farmers and demands the release of the arrested farmer leaders and farmers.
