
Animal Husbandry Department administered vaccines to prevent lumpy skin disease at Ambika Devi Gaushala
Kharar (17/2/2025):- Today, as per the instructions of Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department District Mohali, Animal Husbandry Department of Punjab Government administered vaccines to cows at Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala Landran Road Kharar for the prevention of lumpy skin disease. About 400 cows in the Gaushala were vaccinated to prevent this disease.
Kharar (17/2/2025):- Today, as per the instructions of Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department District Mohali, Animal Husbandry Department of Punjab Government administered vaccines to cows at Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala Landran Road Kharar for the prevention of lumpy skin disease. About 400 cows in the Gaushala were vaccinated to prevent this disease.
This vaccine has been administered free of cost by the Animal Husbandry Department of Punjab Government. This vaccine was administered this year as well as every year as per the instructions of Deputy Director Mohali Dr. Shivkant Gupta and Senior Veterinary Officer Dr. Satnam Singh ji. In this, Veterinary Officer of Civil Animal Hospital Kharar Dr. Prem Kumar Mohanpuria and Chairman of Gaushala Bhupinder Sharma said that the team of doctors from the Animal Husbandry Department was warmly welcomed and the work being done by them was appreciated.
There he motivated the department to vaccinate all the institutions associated with Gaushala Gau Seva Sangh to prevent lumpy skin as well as other diseases. This vaccination was done to protect the cattle from this disease. The team of doctors who came for this vaccination included Jaskaran Singh Senior Veterinary Inspector, Yuvraj Shukla Veterinary Inspector, Sukhdev Singh Karyakar, senior members of Gaushala Amit Sethi, Pandit Chandan Mishra, Mohit Kumar, Mahendra Bajaj and other members.
