S.A.S. Nagar, February 7- Lions Club Panchkula Premier organized a free eye screening camp at Government Primary Smart School Lambia, Sector-69, Mohali.
The club spokesperson said that on this occasion, the eyes of 130 students were examined and those who were found to have defects in their eyesight were referred for further re-examination.
During the camp, Project Chairperson Dr. S.S. Bhamra made the children aware about their study habits, misuse of modern devices like mobile and laptop and said that necessary precautions should be taken to take care of the eyes. Social worker and former councilor S. Satvir Singh Dhanoa was also specially present on this occasion.
School incharge Mrs. Harsimran Kaur thanked the office bearers and members of the club for this initiative taken by the Lions Club.
