On this occasion, it has been reported that the employees who came with the victim have accused the doctor of not providing proper treatment. After getting electrocuted, his fellow employees raised slogans in the hospital. According to hospital sources, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, EMO, who was present on the spot, had referred him to a higher center after providing her first aid so that he could be treated properly.
When we spoke to SMO Dr. Sonia about this, she said that she was on leave at the time of the incident but this matter is in her attention. He said that duty doctor Mandeep Kaur provided first aid while performing her duty and referred the patient to a nearby higher center because the protocol states that if the patient is not getting better facilities at the center, then he should be referred to a nearby higher center so that he can get medical assistance with better facilities and save the patient's life.
